Google & Monotype Release Noto, An Open Source Font

Spanning 100 writing systems, 800 languages and hundreds of thousands of characters.

Google, Monotype and Adobe work 5 years to create an Open Source type face that eliminates Tofu (the blank boxes that appear when a computer or website isn’t able to display text: ⯐) that they've named Noto (No more tofu).  To learn more about it, check out the links below and go here to download (https://www.google.com/get/noto/) it.
